Masaru Sasaki

Masaru Sasaki is the Head of the Legal at JTB Corp Group Headquarters - Japan's largest travel agency.

Masaru has worked in the travel industry for 30 years, gaining vast experience in managing cross-culture and cross-country disputes, negotiating M&A agreements and advising senior management on major international company policies.

Before taking his present position, Masaru spent 10 years working overseas in London and Los Angeles.

Masaru is an active committee member of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and has been a member of the International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates (IFTTA) since 2007.

Masaru graduated from Japan's Keio University and earned his Masters degree at the University of London.

This year JTB celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding. It operates 750 travel outlets in Japan and 84 companies overseas, and employs around 26,000 employees worldwide.
